LED offers the possibility to choose carefully the quality of light adapted to the ambiance a designer likes to bring to his project.

In a dentist practice or pharmacy a clean white light and a high lux (the strength of the light) will emphasize hygiene and property. Light temperature of 3000K to 4000K can be selected

In an office, according to the main task, the light can be slightly warmer and slightly less intensive. The preference will go to 2700K to 3000K.

In restaurants or a living room warm light will enhance the coziness of the ambiance.

 

The wonderful thing about LED is that they are available in different white tints. We can even choose a LED type that will accentuate red and orange tints in a very subtle way, perfect for congenial spaces or blues and greens in more formal places.

 

There are very different qualities in LED production.

Quality products will give:

• a good CRI [color rendering index] giving the perception of colors as close as natural lighting [low quality LED will make look the skin ghostly]

• constant color of the light [low quality LED will have rapidly color shifts, some will be whiter other more blue or yellow]

• low quality driver will make the light flicker and will reduce the life span of the fitting

• good cooling system is a key in a hot climate as Cambodia
